Arcion announces Series A from Bessemer

Dawn of the Data Mobility Era

Arcion (formerly Blitzz) officially launched the only cloud-native, zero-code data mobility platform to connect the $125 billion cloud data ecosystem with on-prem databases. Arcion secured $13M in Series A funding, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with Bessemer Vice President Sakib Dadi joining the Arcion board of directors.

In a world where the cloud is accelerating business growth through more scalable and resilient infrastructure, most enterprises find themselves blocked by traditional databases that offer little interconnectivity. Arcion changes this by enabling enterprises to deploy high-performance, high-volume data pipelines — in minutes instead of months.

With several marquis enterprise customers including Fortune 50, the company also will announce a new CEO, Gary Hagmueller, to lead the company and establish the Data Mobility category.
